The Man Behind the Hats

A lifelong love of Western hats, turned into a one-man labor of love.

I was born and raised in California's remote High Sierra — the backdrop for hundreds of Western films and TV shows. My folks ran a popular restaurant in Lone Pine and knew the stars of that era, from John Wayne to Roy Rogers. I grew up immersed in it, and fell hard for two things: the guns and the hats.

The name comes from two things I dearly love — baseball (ball covers were once made of horsehide) and Henry firearms, a company whose craftsmanship and the way they treat people set the bar. Both stand for quality and integrity. So does this business.

Personal attention and integrity are my hallmarks. I've made just about every hat I've ever wanted — now I'd like to do the same for you.

From Order to Hat

Plan for roughly two to three weeks from order to delivery — and local pickup cuts that down considerably.

I Shape It

Your hat comes in within about 10 days, then I shape it by hand.

Pickup or Ship

Local pickup in Humboldt, or shipped to your door via USPS & UPS.
